Dead ChaCha Dancer

I really don't know where I was going with this title... I thought maybe like a masquerade mask, but then my little brother said I look like a "ChaCha Dancer", so yeah ahha That's where I went with that...

Ta Moko

I was bored after the Bird's Eyes I did, so I did a Moko. A Moko, or Ta Moko is a traditional Maori facial tattoo to signify the transition between adolescent to adulthood. The women traditionally have it on the lips & the chin called a, kauae, where the men have it on the whole face, the buttocks (raperape) & thighs (puhoro). The were carved, that's right, carved into the face by chisels made of Albatross bone, to create grooves in the face. They were first used to show status, most of the higher-ranking people had them, where the "lower class" didn't. They also tattooed women's foreheads, buttocks, thighs, necks and backs and men's backs, stomachs, and calves.
I'm not Maori, but I've always had a love for the Moko. I'm Samoan & when I turn 18 I'll be getting the traditional Samoan Malu, which the delicate female version of the Pe'a. The Malu is a tattoo on the thighs & knees.

Oh, and I used Burt's Bees C/s, Sonia Kashuk Ebony gel liner, MAC Blacktrack Fluidline. :)

Little Red Riding Hood (Revisited)

I was sitting at home, bored per usual, & I decided to revisit my last-year's Halloween Makeup. I was Little Red Riding Hood, I had 3 "bloody" claw marks down the side of my face & I've never been satisfied with how it turned out, so I just re-did it and I feel like this looks WAY better. :)

Second MAC Class

This is my second MAC class I've gone to and this one's theme was "Street To Runway", taking aspects of street style and putting it into wearable Runway looks, from Tokyo's Harajuku girls to the gritty London street style to the beautiful airbrushed, sun-kissed looks in Los Angeles. Some of the same Makeup artists that were at the last class I went to were at this one again and a few of them remembered me :), that means a whole lot to me. And after the class I asked one of them to re-do my lipstick because I felt it was fading & she did this beautiful dark bold lip from the London session. She also asked when I was gunna start working for MAC because she could tell I was a makeup artist in the making, from how I already had my makeup :3

And this is what I got from the class:
the book
MAC Current Lip Pencil
MAC Haute & Naughty Lash Mascara
MAC Innocence, Beware! Lipstick from the Venomous Villains Collection
& MAC Greasepaint Stick in Slick Black
