ok I'm going to try to do some Halloween pieces, nothing too hard. simple stuff.

so last night i was watching The Nightmare Before Christmas & I wanted to do Sally.

pretty simple.


EYES: just semi-dark blue eyeshadow over the whole lid

LIPS: MAC Ruby Woo Red lipstick

STITCHES: MAC Fluidline in Blacktack

my apologies for the picture quality. it was late at night & i left my camera at my parent's house. cuz you see i live in the neighboring apartment with my step-gramma & her 20 cats. fuckin gross. ANYWAYS i did the make-up at like 11 last night & didn't realize that i didn't have my camera until i was done, so i opted to using the camera on my phone. :)

so my best friend (wavyhairandfreckles.blogspot.com go check her OUT :) suggested i do a Twiggy or Mod Make-up thing so i tried but it can out looking more Scene or Clockwork Orange than Mod.

i've never used so much of my Fluideline at one time in my whole life.

EYES:
Ambiance to cover my whole lid including up to my brow & below my water line
Fluideline for the large cat eye & lines under my eye
Dark Devotion to fill my brows

LIPS:
clear gloss

FACE: i never use foundation or bronzer or anything of that nature because i like how my natural skin looks :)

& that's it.

Leopard Eyes

I LOVE LOVE LOVE doing this.

just a little blue eye shadow. black for my eyebrows. MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack for the cat eyes. Plushlash in Plushblack.
& liquid liner for the leopard print.

it's REALLY easy.

Last Night

ok. so last night i went to a Mary Kay party with my mom & her co-workers. it was interesting because they make-up consultant didn't know what she was doing. she knew how to apply the make-up but not how to match the foundation to the women's complexions. one of the women had a semi fair complexion & the woman gave her a very very pale foundation color. she almost looked dead & the consultant continued to tell everyone that they looked "GREAT! OH HONEY YOU LOOK AMAZING!" she looked horrible. i have a some-what beige complexion & i have a lot of freckles ( i mean i have freckles EVERYWHERE! and i do mean EVERYWHERE, sorry TMI ) so the lady gave me a a dark ass color. it actually blended in with my freckles but the rest of my face looked caked & disgusting. THEN we put on bronzer that was so fucking dark it was almost like the outside of a coconut. it was like dooki brown.


well w/e i played along w/ all the women & the make-up "consultant" ( who btw is a paralegal, NOT a make-up artist ). she even said that growing up she was a tomboy & never wore make-up until about 6 years ago. i ended up buying a really cute lipgloss though.

oh! & the moisturizer we put on made my mom have an allergic reaction & had to take all her make-up off. & i asked her how someone can get a full time job working as a REAL make-up artist for Mary Kay & she was like "uhhh ummm welll... umm uhhh... i uhhh don't ummm... really ... likee.... know?" OMG

*sigh*

This is something I did after watching The Dark Knight! (obviously!)

I just used regular halloween face paint, then MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack to line my forehead to my nose, my eyebrows, the diamond on my cheek & the cat eye. then some kind of blue eyeshadow under my cat eye & the triangle & different kinds of lipsticks for my lips, "eyeshadow" & inside the diamond.
